To mark the start of London's debutante season, a host of well-bred young ladies hit the runway, dressed by eight young designers studying at Central St Martin's and the London College of Fashion and styled by Katie McDowell. The Berkeley Dress Show 2010 took place at the Hurlingham Club with guests, including HH Princess Olga Romanov raising money for Veterans Aid, which offers help to ex-forces personnel.

The grand soirée of the season is the Queen Charlotte Ball which takes place at the Treasury House, The Inner Temple, EC4 on Monday 13 September (tickets £250 per person). For more information contact Jennie Hallam Peel on jhp@londonseason.net
